Chapter 15 ("A Tempest at the Temple") is a 2.5 – 3 hours segment of the 22-mission main story of Onimusha: Way of the Sword. 3. Walkthrough
Sections In This Chapter
Section 1 — Mountain Ascent
Begin at the Kiyomizu-dera base. The first stretch is a vertical climb up the main staircase with Genma Archers on the cliff walls.
Use the Nue Soul Core (Chapter 9) to stagger the Archers' airborne attacks. Mountain Breaker heavy-attack staggers groups even on the steep steps.
Section 2 — Wind-Bridge Gauntlet
The wind-bridge is a 60-second traversal across three suspended wooden platforms. Brute patrols drop in from the cliffs and the wind itself nudges you off-balance.
The wind pushes you during heavy attacks. Time your strikes between gusts. Falling off resets you to the previous platform.
Section 3 — Cult Ritual Chamber
The ritual chamber has a Genma-lord summoning a Brute tide.
Wave: 8 Brutes + 4 Cultist Casters + 1 Genma-Lord. Deflect the casters' talismans back at them. Once all casters are down, the Genma-Lord disengages and you can pursue him to the cliff-edge pavilion.
Section 4 — Rasho-gan Sub-Boss
The cliff-edge pavilion is Rasho-gan's domain. Rasho-gan is a Genma-warrior wielding twin crescent-blades.
Phase 1: twin-blade scissor combos. Deflect the scissor close for a wall-bounce. Phase 2: aerial dives. Parry each dive with the new Aerial Issen. Phase 3: Rasho-gan casts a Tornado AoE. Roll through the gap at his back.
Section 5 — Genma Supply Cache
Destroy the Genma supply cache behind the pavilion. A 20-second QTE sequence detonates it.
QTE sequence: A → X → Y → B. The cache explosion opens a hidden cave path to the cliff-top relic.
Section 6 — Cliff-Top Relic
Recover the Third Enma Page from the cliff-top relic.
The Enma Page is the largest of the seven; the relic-stone at the cliff's edge is its holder. The cutscene here foreshadows Chapter 21's Dokyo confrontation.

5. Missables
- Third Enma Page — the cliff-top relic only spawns if you trigger the cache detonation QTE. Skip the QTE and the relic path is sealed.
- Hozuki Pouch token #11 — hidden under wind-bridge #2. From the second platform, drop down (clutch LT) to a small ledge under the bridge.
- Aerial Issen skill — completing Rasho-gan's phase 2 with all three aerial parries intact grants the skill seal. Missing a parry downgrades the skill to a basic aerial-deflect.
- Wind-bridge end chest — requires Shield-Breaker skill from Chapter 12 to open. Skip and the chest is locked forever.
