Entity Database

A central, searchable index of every entity in Onimusha: Way of the Sword β€” characters, weapons, bosses, skills, items, and locations. Pre-release entries are live now based on official previews and the playable demo; the full verified database goes live on September 4, 2026.

The Onimusha Strats Database

TL;DR Quick Summary
  • Six categories: Characters, Weapons, Bosses, Skills, Items, Locations
  • Pre-release entries are live now, built from official previews and the demo
  • Every entry is tagged with a verification status so you know its source
  • The full verified database drops on launch day β€” September 4, 2026

The Entity Database is the structured knowledge base for Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Instead of scrolling through guides to find a single stat, you can look up any character, weapon, boss, skill, item, or location directly. Each entry follows the same template β€” a quick-attributes table, a description, and the relevant mechanics β€” so you always know where to look.

Because the game does not launch until September 4, 2026, most entries are marked Pre-Release: built from official Capcom previews, interviews, and the playable demo. A handful of entries (the protagonist, the starting weapon, a known boss, the shrine system) are already drafted so the structure is live. After launch, every entry will be re-verified against the full game and tagged Officially Confirmed or Demo Verified.

Search & Filter

Use the search bar below to look up an entity by name (search is a placeholder for now and will be wired to the full database at launch). Tap a category filter to jump straight to that section.

All Characters Weapons Bosses Skills Items Locations
πŸ’‘ Verification Status on Every Entry

Every database entry carries a verification badge β€” Officially Confirmed, Demo Verified, Pre-Release, or Community β€” so you always know the source and reliability of the data. Pre-release entries may change at launch; check the badge before you plan a build around a number.

How the Database Is Built

The database is structured around six entity types, and each one uses the same page template so navigation is predictable:

Entity Type What You'll Find Status
Characters Role, weapon, affiliation, element, background, abilities, combat style Pre-Release β†’ Confirmed
Weapons Type, element, base damage, obtain method, moveset, upgrade costs Pre-Release β†’ Confirmed
Bosses Type, chapter, weakness, attacks, parry windows, Issen opportunities, rewards Pre-Release β†’ Confirmed
Skills Skill tree nodes, prerequisites, effects, optimal build paths Coming at launch
Items Consumables, key items, materials, locations, missable flags Coming at launch
Locations Type, region, fast travel, NPCs, functions (save, respec, upgrade) Pre-Release β†’ Confirmed

After launch, the database will be the backbone of every guide on the site β€” walkthroughs will link to boss entries, build guides will link to weapon and skill entries, and the collectibles checklist will link to item and location entries. Bookmark this page; it will grow fast once the game is in hand.

⚠️ Pre-Release Data May Change

Numbers, movesets, and encounter details in pre-release entries are drawn from official previews and the demo build. Capcom can rebalance before launch. Treat any specific figure as provisional until an entry is re-verified and stamped Officially Confirmed.
